Common Causes of Scoliosis
Statistics show that approximately 3% of the population are affected by scoliosis. Onset can occur in early childhood but most commonly occur during a growth spurt or during puberty. It is not known what the exact cause is however doctors believe there is a genetic link because it tends to run in families.
