Post Natal Physio Exercise

Many of the practitioners have a particular interest in women’s health including prenatal and postnatal related pain and conditions. We recommend post – natal pilates for women who are dealing with Diastasis Rectus Abdominis (abdominal wall separation), pelvic floor weakness and incontinence issues, and also for those simply wanting to start their fitness regime post baby in a safe environment.
Pregnancy related low back pain is a common complaint that occurs in 60-70% of pregnancies and can begin at any point during pregnancy. Although most cases are mild, approximately one third of women experience severe pain.
Reasons to do post natal and pregnancy Physio exercise:

Our classes are small (4 people max) and are all run by Physiotherapists. Everyone will receive a personalised program which is important as every mum will recover differently and will require exercise specific to their stage of recovery.
