What is the Cause?
There can be a range of causes for pelvic floor dysfunction. Although common pre and post partum, pelvic floor dysfunction can also occur in adolescents and post-menopausal women. Pregnancy, lifting weights/exercise, post-menopause and change in hormone levels can all contribute to dysfunction.
