Causes of SIJ dysfunction?
Statistics show that approximately 20% of lower back pain is caused by the SIJ . Onset usually occurs from a trauma to the pelvis such as a fall, childbirth, an accident or multiple micro traumas. This can cause malalignment and dysfunction of the joint or instability within the joint. The evidence based assessment that all our staff are trained in will allow us to determine what is causing your pain.
